DAY 1: THE ARRIVAL...
WELCOME TO LOGAN, OH!
Logan is a city in and county seat of Hocking County, Ohio, United States, along The Hocking River about 43 miles southeast of Columbus, and the home of the only remaining washboard manufacturing company in the US.

On your first evening, you’ll have the freedom to enjoy your first night lodging delving into the relaxing atmosphere prior to other Expedition go-er's. You may also find, taking a stroll from the Worthington through historic downtown Logan, a selection of food options or shops you may want to explore.
Please let us know if you intend on driving in to your first accommodation or if you are flying inbound, or are not planning on renting a vehicle, and will need our assistance in scheduling a taxi- or shuttle service. Rental vehicle drivers or personal vehicle drivers have parking available for the duration of the Expedition. We suggest all travelers obtain travel insurance when booking The Hocking Hills Expedition and traveling with airfare.
DAY 2: THE ADVENTURE BEGINS

Good morning sunshine! This is your first morning waking up at the Worthington of Logan. They will have a wonderful continental breakfast waiting for you in the dining area along with a few extra snacks for your journey ahead. The expedition begins soon after breakfast as all participants will be shuttled from the Worthington of Logan to their second destination. Be sure to check your waivers and packing lists for any necessary items to bring along with you for your first day with guides. Guides will meet with all individuals participating in the Adventure Package. (Adventure Package is included for all Early Arrival guests unless they choose to opt out).

Kayaking or Canoeing Adventure
All participants will be shuttled from the Worthington of Logan to the first drop-off location. Upon arrival, you’ll find all equipment available and ready for your trip to include paddles, life-vests, kayaks & canoes, provided by Fox’s Canoe Livery.

The Rockbridge Nature Preserve
The Rockbridge Nature Preserve has plenty of history and ecological facts to be discussed with your guides as they lead you along a hiking trail. Soon you will be met with the beauty and after your Rockbridge tour is complete you will then hike to your third adventure of the day.
The Superzip
If you have a need for speed, Hocking Hills Canopy Tours SuperZip® delivers! Named in the top ten best zip-lines in the world, this quarter-mile long dual zipline reaches speeds up to 50 mph!
You will complete your river adventure once you get back to your boats. Grab a snack somewhere in between, and enjoy the views with your adventure crew!
All participants will complete their river adventure at The Hocking Hills Canoe Livery. A shuttle will be there to bring participants back to the Worthington of Logan to use the hotel amenities prior to dinner. All Hocking Hills Expedition participants will be checked into their rooms. There will be a meeting over dinner for an introduction to group leaders, guides, participants, and the extended hike portion of the Expedition. All information for the extended hike routes will be discussed over dinner. All Expedition Go-er's will be escorted by guides from the Worthington to their first dining experience as a group.
From there you are free to explore Downtown Logan...

DAY 3: THE HIKE BEGINS!
Wake up rested and refreshed, you'll head on down to breakfast and fill up. Today's the first hike! Once you've replenished reserves, meet the shuttle outside and it's off to the first location.

Set off on your voyage through 10.1 miles of beautiful Appalachian country, one of the most biodiverse regions in the world. Move at your own pace as you take in the natural wonders. Over the horizon lies the Hocking Hills State Park Lodge, your second lodging location.

After check-in all guests will be expected to attend a dinner experience with Travel Far Adventure Hard guides. Guests will have time to prepare for dinner which will be held in a private area of the lodge. Dinner will be hosted by the Rockhouse Restaurant located in the lodge. After dinner spend the rest of the evening enjoying the amenities this lodge has to offer.
DAY 4: THE HIKE CONTINUES!
Roll out of bed and into the second day of hiking! The lodge will have breakfast in the morning where you will fuel up for the day. Lunches will be provided by Travel Far Adventure Hard as your hike continues. No shuttle, no wait, meet with your guides after breakfast. Straight from the Lodge, you'll embark on your journey.

Food Experience at the Cave
From Ash Cave we continue to a hidden wonder featuring amazing geological formations and a waterfall.
From here, with memories of the sights already building dreamscapes in your mind, you board the shuttle to spend one last night at the Worthington.
